Would you believe that I still have some free time between family, 5 DT, weekend workshops and some orders? No, right?
I wouldn't believe either. But somehow I managed to find few free hours to alter this wooden box :)
And now it's Steampunk style treasure box :)
And I'm really love it!
If you are interested, I painted this box with Lindy's mists, Art Alchemy metallique paints and Art Alchemy metallique waxes. And a little bit of Rust Effect paste (by Finnabair of course)
Today i would like to share with you my new notebook cover.
I created it for The MiNi Art DT inspiration. I really like when my creations are not only beautiful but also useful. And that's why I really like to create notebook covers. This time I was inspired by beautiful Berry71Bleu's mood-board.
I have a new project to share with you.
It's an altered hoop. I created it as Scrap & Craft DT inspiration and I was inspired by More Than Words May challenge. So beautiful theme - Mother and flowers...
My creation is a gift for my beautiful mom, just to remember her how amazing she is.
How are you?
My last 2 days were terrible. I got 2 emergency orders. And to misfortune, my sewing machine broke down in the middle of the work. But that wasn't all. Also my Cinch spoiled 20 sheets of paper for a blessing book, and these were the last sheets. My poor husband had to solve my problems instead of work. He put the sewing machine to repair, and in the evening we went to buy a lot of new papers.
But this project I've crated before :)
It's a layout in Vintage style with my mom's photo. On this photo she's maybe 12 with her big brother.
I created it for The Mini Art, with their chipboards and stencil, using 7 Dots Studio papers and Prima Marketing embellishments
I have a new creation to share with you :)
It's Vintage style mixed media canvas. I created it as my inspiration project for Mixed Media Warriors challenge blog.
When I began I had no idea what it's going to be. I didn't plane this creation at all. I just started from adding some chipboard die cuts pieces, modeling paste + stencils and played with mists and Art Alchemy paints. When I got this background in vintage style colors, I decided to put on it some vintage ephemera, flowers and metal junk elements :)
How are you? Do you like to create your projects from scratch? Or prefer to use ready-made bases? I prefer to make my creations from scratch :)
So If you more like me you'll love my new mixed media project with a video tutorial. I had build this binder from scratch and covered it with a lot of mixed media techniques. All you need are few chipboard pieces, fabric adhesive tape, cotton fabric and ring binder.
A list of all mixed media materials you'll find in the bottom of this post. The tutorial is little bit long, but all steps seemed to me important so I couldn't shorten more. Sorry :)
Yesterday I finally could back to my big love - Mixed Media.
And I have a new creation to share with you. It's a huge canvas. The canvas size is 40 x 60 cm, or 16 x 24 inch.
It was my first attempt to create something so big. I have to tell you that I really liked it. Somehow for me it's more easy to build harmonic composition on a big format. When I'm working on small surfaces I feel Like I don't have enough space to put on it all embellishments :)
But this time on this canvas I finally added all my faves :)
